Daycares

Center Director must successfully complete a biennial training program in CPR & in first aid. The training must be done by licensed healthcare professional or certified trainer & must deal with the provision of emergency care to infants & children. At any given time, at least fifty percent (50%) of the caregiver Staff shall have completed such training & shall have current evidence of the completion of such training.

Centers that provides transportation, the driver or another Staff person present on the vehicle shall have current evidence of successful completion of a biennial training program in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) & in first aid offered by certified or licensed health care professionals or trainers & has provision of emergency care to infants & children.

Staffing Requirement. Whenever any child is present, there must always be a Staff member on the Center premises and on any field trip who is trained in CPR and first aid. All Staff who provide direct care to children must obtain certification in first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation within the first 90 days of employment.
