American Heart Association Training Courses

HeartSaver CPR / AED Course – $45/ student Enroll-button-3

This class is for people that have may have very little or no medical knowledge but are required to have or maintain certification for employment or to hold a position for a non-profit organization. The class will cover the following objectives:

  1. Medical Emergencies
  2. Rescue of Choking Victims
  3. Receive training in the use of an AED
  4. Key changes reflecting the new science from the 2010 American Heart Association Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC)

HeartSaver First Aid, CPR, AED Course – $50/ student Enroll-button-3

This class is for people that have may have very little or no medical knowledge but are required to have or maintain certification for employment or to hold a position for a non-profit organization. The class will cover the following objectives:

  1. First Aid basics
  2. Medical Emergencies
  3. Receive training in the use of an AED.
  4. Environmental Emergencies
  5. Key changes reflecting the new science from the 2010 American Heart Association Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider Course –

 $65 for Initial Course  Enroll-button-3   $55 for Renewal  Enroll-button-3

This class reinforces the skills of the Health Care Provide in the medical and dental field. The class will cover the following objectives:

  1. Learn to detect the early warning signs for several medical conditions.
  2. Receive training in the use of an AED.
  3. Learn to relieve choking in a safe and effective manner.
  4. Key changes reflecting the new science from 2010 ECC / ILCOR and American Heart Association Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

Skills Check Off After Completing the Online Course –                                        $40/ student Enroll-button-3

Online courses are available with the American Heart Association (AHA) at www.heart.org. The cost ranges depending on the course you choose. After completion of the online course, “Skills Check Off” is required to receive an AHA certification wallet card.
